Birth, Death, Marriage, Adoption Certificates

Guyanese residing in Trinidad and Tobago can submit their application for a Birth, Death or Marriage Certificate at the Consulate General of Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago or directly to the General Registrar Office.

Applications submitted via the Consulate General will be forwarded to the General Registrar Office in Guyana for processing which can take approximately two (2) to three (3) months.

Requirements

Completed application form. Download, print and complete the form ensuring that you enter accurate information (for example, the exact place of birth in Guyana, that is, street, hospital or village)
Copy of the old Birth, Death, Marriage Certificate (if available)
Application Fees in the amount of TT$
Postage Fee in or TrakPak Envelope from TTPost.
Applications can be submitted via post to the Consulate General of Guyana, 10 Wainwright Street, St Clair, Port-of-Spain.

Applications will be subject to delays if the information inserted on the form is not accurate.
