Emergency Certificates will be issued for travel to Guyana ONLY based on the following conditions:
An emergency requires your presence in Guyana.
Your current passport has or is about to expire.
Your current passport is lost/stolen/damaged.

Completed application form (see forms section)
Proof of Guyanese citizenship (Birth certificate and expired Guyana Passport/another form of picture ID)
If a passport is lost/stolen/damaged, an affidavit for a lost passport (can be completed at the Consulate for an additional fee of TT$200 for the affidavit)

Note
It is the responsibility of passport holders to ensure that they possess a valid passport with at least six (6) months validity for international travel. This requirement should be observed before finalising plans for such travel.
