Police Certificate of Character

Application Procedure

Please schedule your appointment and bring along the required documents to your appointment. The following must accompany each application for a Certificate of Character/Police Certificate:

  • Completed application form (see forms section).
  • Three (3) recent passport-size photographs.
  • Two copies of the Passport Bio-Data Page.
  • Two copies of your Birth Certificate.
  • Fee of 200.00TTD.
  • Your fingerprints will be taken at the Consulate General.
  • TTPost Track Pack for the return of your Certificate.

Certificates of Character/Police Clearance

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) provides a Police Certificate (commonly called a Criminal Clearance Certificate or Police Clearance) at a cost to both Guyanese nationals and foreign nationals who have resided in Guyana.
